Spring into Action
Spring is just around the corner and the days already noticeably longer. Today is the 1st of February and St. Brigid's Day. We have lots to be grateful for. During these strange times it is important to stay positive and celebrate the good things in our lives. Mental health, wellbeing and physical activity are all the more important at this time.
In recent years the pupils, staff and parents of St.Annes' have worked together to promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle and clean environment. We have been awarded multiple Green Flags and just over a year ago got our Active Schools Flag.
To celebrate this achievement and to continue our emphasis on an active lifestyle to promote health and wellbeing we have decided to designate this week as a 'Spring into Action' Week. We will be inviting pupils to send us photos and video clips of their PE lessons or any other activities they are doing to stay fit and healthy. These will be uploaded here and on the school twitter account.
The Active Schools Committee is inviting the pupils from 3rd to 6th Classes to send us a poster with the slogan, 'Spring into Action!' and inviting all our pupils to participate in the celebration of our Active School Flag.
