Hot Lunches
Lunch is an important meal for school going children. St. Anne’s N.S. provides a hot lunch daily for your child. You will be given details of an app for you to sign in and choose your child’s food from the menu in advance of each week. Please ensure your child has a healthy snack daily. The snack should consist of items your child can manage easily and independently. The following guide is designed to help you provide quick, appetising and nutritious snacks for your children.
Breads &Alternatives
- Bread, rolls or wraps, preferably wholemeal.
- Rice-wholegrain
- Pasta-wholegrain
- Potato Salad
- Cheese pieces
- Wholemeal scones
- No nutella or chocolate spreads please
- No nut based foods.
Fruit and Vegetables
Apples, bananas, peaches, plums, mandarins, pineapple cubes, orange segments, grapes, tomato, cucumber, peppers, celery, carrot sticks, fruit salad, dried fruit, sweetcorn, coleslaw.
Drinks
Milk including low fat
Water
Homemade soup
Yogurt- no frubes or pouches please
