Our Shelter Mural Art Project
Our 4th Class pupils and two of our 6th class artists were asked to imagine a scene of the local flora and fauna in Bailieborough and sketch their ideas.
We were so lucky to have Belturbet artist, Rosie Cole in conjunction with Cavan Arts to come on board and bring the children's visions to life. The children's sketches were transferred to recycled cardboard stencils and then placed together onto the walls. A mural depicting Mother Earth watching over nature slowly unfolded
The result is stunning and a beautiful addition to our Infant play area and outdoor garden space.
Special thanks to Cavan Arts, the wonderful artist Rosie Cole, Miss Mc Gurren, Mr. O'Dowd, all of our 4th class pupils, Annabelle and Ciara from 6th class, and the weather for the perfect conditions over the past fortnight.
