Meet our new Home School Community Liaison Co-ordinator Katie Stafford
The Home School Community Liaison Scheme is designed to work with, and support the adults in a child’s life to help improve educational outcomes.
The scheme identifies needs and puts appropriate responses in place.
Home visits by the HSCL are the primary point of contact for parents/guardians. These visits are to assist parents/guardians with any concerns regarding their child’s education. Connections with families are also made in the school and in the community.
Classes for parents/guardians are another important part of the scheme. These can range from hobbies and interests to courses on parenting and child development.
