This year we are celebrating Active School week with a difference.
National ‘Active SCHOOL Week’ takes place every April and is a really enjoyable part of the school year for many children.
This year, because of COVID-19, it is not possible for this to go ahead so we are asking you to to participate in the ‘Active HOME Week‘ challenge instead.
Have a look here for some inspiration on what you can get up to for 'Active Home Week' and follow our Active Home week journey by clicking into 'School Life' then 'Active School'.
To complete the Active Home Week challenge you have to complete 4 different exercises a day, making sure this adds up to 60 minutes-1 hour.
Remember our active flag slogan
60 minutes everyday, everybody go and play.
Once you do 4 different activities that make up 60 minutes you have completed the challenge.
You will find a challenge chart below where you can tick off each activity for every day. We looked forward to seeing your challenge chart completed at the end of the week.
Take photos/videos of you completing your activities and upload them onto google classroom or email office@stannesns.ie and we will post them here on our school website. As we haven’t seen you in a very long time, it would be lovely to see you having fun and being active again.
Have a good week!
